The 2023 Orienteering World Cup kicks off in Østfold, Norway with three forest races – Long, Middle and Relay over the course of four days.

The majority of the world’s orienteering elite will thus have another opportunity to try their hand at the challenging, nordic terrain in the most south-eastern corner of Norway, where the World Orienteering Championships were held in 2019.

Tove Alexandersson (SWE), Kasper Fosser (NOR) and Team Sweden are the reigning World Cup winners and will start their title defense on April 27, when the long distance begins in the morning.

Orienteering World Cup 2023 consist of ten races spread over three World Cup rounds.

In addition to the first round in Norway, Česká Lípa (CZE) and Verona (ITA) host the following rounds from August 2-6 and October 4-8 respectively.
