From next week, IOF’s global development webinars are back to help you find out more about various orienteering topics.
IOF’s Global Development Commission is behind the series of webinars in the coming months, that are open to all.
The first takes place onThursday, November 2ndfrom 19.30 – 21.00 CET (UTC +1)and is about World Orienteering Week 2024 (former World Orienteering Day) in May next year and how to make it a success.
It will feature examples of best practice from federations around the world and give time to discuss how to create a quality event with great impact.
Later in the webinar season, Sprint World Champion Megan Carter Davies will share her experiences with mental preparations in orienteering and professional mapper Flavio Poltera will give his thoughts on mapping in forest and urban areas.
