Orienteering World Cup Round 2 will feature four races in the northern part of Czechia over the course of five days.
The first two race days consist of a sprint and a sprint relay in the historic city Česká Lípa, which will test the runners ability to make fast decisions on the irregular network of paved streets.
Next up is the challenging continental sandstone terrain around Kokořínsko, where a middle and long distance takes place on Saturday and Sunday.
The forest races will give the runners the opportunity to take revenge on the terrain type that made up the forest distances at the WOC 2021.
Seven individual races and three relays make up the 2023 Orienteering World Cup, which is spread over three rounds: Norway (April 27-30), Czechia (August 2-6) and Italy (October 4-8).
